Poitou-Charentes Region
Poitou-Charentes is one of the 22 Regions which constitute metropolitan France. It comprises four Departments: Charente, Charente-Maritime, Deux-Sèvres et Vienne.
The inhabitants of the Poitou-Charentes Region are calles Picto-Charentais in French.
The regional capital is Poitiers, which is also the biggest city and largest urban area in the Region.
