The SNCF network serves La Rochelle from all major French cities.
From Paris Montparnasse: 6 trains per day - direct TGV Atlantique (about 2h50)

La Rochelle station is located in the city centre, a 4-minute walk from the Aquarium Coutant where the symposium is taking place.
