The hotel is located 600 meters away from the railway station and is easy to get to by car. The La Rochelle- Ile de Ré airport is 6 km away.
By Car Arriving from the north, from Paris, Niort and Nantes: On arrival in la Rochelle follow signs "Gare SNCF" and then "Vieux-Port). Right after the Hospital turn Right towards le "Vieux-Port", Stay along the canal, at the 3rd traffic light second to last one before the 'Vieux-Port', take a Left and you will be in the "rue de la Sardinerie". The hotel is on your left.
Arriving from the south, from Bordeaux, Royan and Rochefort: Take the exit marked "Centre Ville, Vieux-Port, Gare SNCF". When you arrive in front of the railway station turn left into the perpendicular Avenue Charles de Gaulle. Continue to the "Vieux Port", this first part of the Port 'Quai Valin'. After the Quai, before the intersection with Canal, at the Cafe des Deux tours, take the road to the right. (Quai Maubec, which runs along the Canal). Take 1st traffic light to the right. You are in the rue Sardinerie, The St. Nicolas is 50 metres further along.
