As part of a research project on climate justice in link with the preparation of the COP 21 (Paris Conference, framework convention on climate change) which includes the preparation of an international conference organized by the European Environmental Law Association (EELA) hosted by the University of La Rochelle in October 2015, the Center for Legal and Political Studies (CEJEP), in charge of this project, hires a post-doctorate person.
- Support the research team on the following issues:
- Mobilize the community of environmental legal experts in the 28 member States relying on the European Environmental Law Association network.
- Follow the call for papers for the international conference on climate justice organized in La Rochelle and prepare the conference proceedings.
- PhD in law and/or political science
- Skills in European law and/or environment international law, specialisation in climate talks welcomed
- Working languages: English as a first language would be an advantage and fluent French would be preferable
- Capacity to work as part of a team
- Sense of contact and diplomacy
- Good organizational capacity
