Lien : How to go from La Rochelle to Barcelona for ICDAR 2009 ?

You have different possibilities for going from GREC (la Rochelle) to ICDAR (Barcelona)

If you choose the first option, we will make a bill, as if it was a "classic trip" from La Rochelle to Barcelona, and this bill could be integrated in GREC registration fees.

A/ Travel to ICDAR organized by GREC and ICDAR Organizers

First, we propose a solution which combines economy, touristic excursion, and conviviality between GREC members

    - individual price for 30 persons : 290 € including travels, hotel restarurants
    - individual price for 20 persons : 390 € including travels, hotel restarurants


The trip we propose is the following one :

24th july 2009 (friday)

- departure from La Rochelle

- visit of the city of Saint-Emilion (http://www.saint-emilion-tourisme.com/) , a world wide known city thanks to its  wine of Bordeaux, and visit of a wine and spirits store + lunch  : possibility to visit cave,a nd buy one of the best wine in the world

- dinner and accomodation at Carcassonne, a medieval city with fortification : http://www.carcassonne.org/

25th july 2009 (saturday)

- free visit of the city of Carcassonne : http://www.carcassonne.org/

- visit of a Cathare castle (Peyrepertuse or Queribus) : http://www.chateau-peyrepertuse.com/

- lunch at Perpignan

- visit of the city of Cadaques-Rosas  : http://www.cbrava.com/cadaques_fr.htm

- arrival at Barcelona

B/ By your own

But if you want, you can go to Barcelona by your own,

    - through Paris (Train to Paris, then flight to Barcelona : approximatve cost 400 €)

    - through Lyon (flight La Rochelle Lyon, then Lyon Barcelona : approximative price : 500 €)
